To ensure the operator is protected during precise powder weighing operations, Cruma has designed a new cabinet equipped with a double-HEPA filter that retains particles of up to 0.3 microns. The cabinet comes in two different sizes and is equipped with a main H14 filter and an H14 safety filter at the point of discharge. Optionally it can include an activated carbon filter at the same point.

Manufactured in Barcelona using CE components and certified by an external laboratory pursuant to international Standards and applying the ISO 9001:2015 quality criteria.


These can be used in areas where it is difficult to extract contaminated air, such as the lower floors of buildings, and they can be placed in different locations, which it means that they can be easily relocated if needed.

Economic Savings and Easy to Set-Up

No expensive works are necessary to install conduits to extract the gas to the outside which means there are no additional costs and no need to interrupt a laboratory working at full capacity.

Energy Savings

Unlike traditional extraction hoods, our fume hoods do not use the air conditioning equipment inside the laboratory, which substantially reduces energy costs. The aspirated air is not expelled outside but recirculated back into the laboratory free from contaminating substances.

Manufacturing: External parts are 1.2 mm galvanized coated steel with anti acid polymer resin powder heat-hardened at 200 °C. The doors are transparent polymethylmethacrylate 6 mm thick (light transmission of 93%)

Cabinet with double Hepa filtration: the filtration system consists of two HEPA filters H-14 for the retention of particles up to 0.3 microns. Standard with no surprises.


The cabinet comes equipped with H-14 main filter plus an H-14 safety filter to the expulsion.
When ordered, it can be configured with an activated carbon filter to the expulsion instead of the HEPA filter.

Cruma Filters

Two are better than one. For pure, pristine air.

A filtration system that includes a double filter as standard: the main H14 filter with a flow equalizer and an H14 safety filter at the point of discharge, both of which have an efficiency rate of over 99.995 % for particles of 0.3 microns (Standards MIL-F51068C, EN-ISO 14644-1 and BS 3298). Optionally, and at no extra cost, the HEPA filter located at the point of discharge can be replaced with an activated carbon filter when weighing operations also require molecular filtration. The main filter comes equipped with an electronic chip as standard to offer the operator a maximum level of safety.
Filter TypesDescription
Type AFor organic vapors such as ketones, ethers, alcohols, xylenes… Eventually it can be used for inorganic acids, but only if used in small quantities because this activated carbon is not impregnated and the excess of acid vapors could saturate it quickly.
Type BEFor inorganic acid vapors as H2SO4, HCl, HNO3, and volatile sulfur compounds such as H2S, SO3, … It can be used with organic vapors because the activated carbon incorporates impregnation of metal compounds and neutralizing salts. It is also suitable to filter organic and inorganic compounds when they are in similar proportions.
Type FFor formaldehyde vapors and derivatives; also good for other organic compounds. Carbon impregnated with Cu leads, so that it should never be used with inorganic acid vapors.
Type KFor NH3 vapors and amines; also good for other organic compounds. Carbon with metal salt complexes impregnation.
Type ABEKMixed type to be used when the ratios between organic, inorganic and NH3/amines are similar.
Type DHEPA H-14 filter (High Efficiency Particulate Air, according to EN-1822: 1998) for filtering dust and smoke particles.
